Level 4 Bio Safety Laboratory
Specialist Floor & Wall Systems at National Laboratories
As part of a fit-out at the national laboratories near Leixlip during late 2016 and early 2017, Mc Loughlin Industrial Flooring Limited was contracted to install specialist floor and wall linings in Irelands only Level 4, Bio Safety Laboratory (BSL). Existing vinyl sheet flooring was removed and a seamless 3mm epoxy topping with elastomeric polyurethane membrane was installed throughout.
Waterproof Membrane to Kilkenny Car Park
Ormonde Street Car Park, Kilkenny City
Mc Loughlin Industrial Flooring completed a turnkey renovation project during July 2017 at Ormonde Street car park in Kilkenny City. An existing membrane had degraded and de-bonded over several years resulting in extensive ingress of water through the facilities top parking level. Fully exposed to the elements, the design criteria included resistance to UV and thermal cycling, fully elastomeric waterproofing properties and slip resistance.
Belgian Hospital
55,000m2 Application of "Comfortfloor" in Belgian Hospital
Mc Loughlin Industrial Flooring recently completed the final stage of a 55,000m2 project at the AZG Hospital in Kortrijk, Belgium. Working with main contractor Jan De Nul / BAM Europe, Mc Loughlin Flooring installed a 2.5mm self-smoothing polyurethane system to wards, corridors, operating theatres, public areas and private rooms.

Royal College of Surgeons
4,000m2 Application of PU "Comfortfloor" at Royal College of Surgeon's
Working with main contractor Bennett Construction, Mc Loughlin Industrial Flooring recently completed a 4,000m2 application of "Comfortfloor" polyurethane at the expanded Royal College of Surgeon's facility in Dublin. Working within a very tight programme, the company successfully completed the application within time and on budget.
